What we keep
Who you are. Your name, your email address and your profile picture, as Google or GitHub gives them to us when you sign in. We never see your password — signing in happens with them, not with us.
What your team builds. The apps deployed into your workspace, the record of each deploy, and the messages in an app's thread. This is the work itself, and it is the reason the service exists.
Keys you store. An API key you put in an app's vault is kept so the app can use it, and it is never shown back to anyone — not to you, not to the people you shared the app with.
How much your apps are used. Counts of requests and how many of them failed, so the workspace can show you whether an app is healthy.
Why we keep it
To run the service you asked for: to know who you are when you come back, to show you your workspace and decide what you may open, to build and host what you deploy, to tell you when a deploy lands or fails, and to keep the service working and secure. That is the whole list.
Who else touches it
We do not run every machine ourselves. A small number of trusted providers handle parts of the service on our behalf: hosting and running the apps your team deploys, keeping the workspace stored safely, and delivering the email we send you. Each of them is held to using what it sees only to do that job, and to nothing else.
One is worth calling out on its own. When a deploy fails, the error and the conversation around it can be sent to an AI service so it comes back as an explanation you can actually read. That happens only on a failure, and only for that.
If you need the current list of those providers by name — for a review, or to satisfy your own policy — write to us and we will send it to you.
Apps you deploy
An app your team builds here can collect information from the people who use it. That information is yours, sitting in your workspace, and what happens to it is your team's responsibility rather than ours — we hold it for you and do not look through it.
An app can also be granted access to company data, but only where an admin has written a rule allowing it. Nothing is opened up quietly.
What we never do
We do not sell your information, and we do not hand it to anyone for advertising. There is no advertising on ShareBase and no tracking of you across other websites. We do not read your apps or your data to train models.
How long we keep it
While your workspace exists. Delete an app and it goes, along with the data it was holding. Close the workspace and everything in it goes with it. A short while afterwards it is gone from our backups too.
Getting it back or deleted
Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, send you a copy, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live you may have a formal right to all four; we will do it either way. Write to [email protected] from the address you signed in with, and we will answer.
Some of it your own workspace admin controls rather than us — adding and removing people is theirs to do — so for those, ask them first.
Changes
If we start keeping something new, or a new company joins the list above, this page changes and the date at the top moves. If the change matters to you, we will say so by email rather than leave you to notice.
